Had a fab week solo. It’s super clean and the guys staying there are very chill and social. The pool’s nice for lounging and the beach is just a quick stroll. I enjoyed breakfast outside, but the morning coffee could be stronger. Chuck and the crew are awesome—def will be back next time in town!

While the southern-facing grounds are appealing, be mindful that neighboring buildings provide an unobstructed view into the area, which could be a little awkward if you're looking for privacy. The lack of a hot tub seems like a missed opportunity, especially considering the clientele. Additionally, my shower only provided tepid water on the last day, which was disappointing. Navigating the universal remote felt more complex than it should have, and the room safe needed an extra key just to lock it up, adding an unnecessary complication. Lastly, while the cleaning service was attentive, they moved my belongings around when tidying up, which I found a tad intrusive.

I had a good stay at Cheston House, enjoying the clean, beautifully maintained grounds and the peaceful atmosphere. The heated pool provided a perfect retreat after a day at the beach. While the breakfast selections could use a bit more variety, the relaxing vibe made my experience wonderful.
